Choosing a celebrant led ceremony means you have total control over your day. Deciding where you want to get married, the beach, the woods, on cliff top, the choices are endless. Get married anywhere at any time and the venue can be licensed or unlicensed, it doesn’t matter.

As your celebrant I will tailor your ceremony to your unique style and will get to know you over the course of planning and designing your special day which means we will have a meaningful connection for the most important day of your life.

The ceremony will be written with humour, formal, light hearted or however you want it. We will get to know one another, and I will hear how you met, the proposal, what you like about one another and maybe things that drive you mad, and I will put it all together to give you the perfect script for your perfect day.

Nobody else will have the same ceremony as YOU as it is written for you and nobody else. Can you imagine your friends and family listening to a ceremony so personal and all about you and them and telling your love story. They will talk about it for years afterwards.

We can include a personal ritual such as hand fasting, unity candles, sand ceremony tree planting, the list goes on and on and the possibilities are endless. We can even create our own ritual from a family tradition or something to include the children.

We can involve your guests in readings, poems, singing or inventing a special part for them. And what about having a special entrance or exit to your ceremony. You’ve seen the wedding scene from ‘love actually’ where the band strikes up in the church? Well, we can do that!! We can do whatever you desire.

What is the difference between a registrar and a celebrant?

In the UK a registrar is bound by laws and can only provide the scripted service that everyone has. They have set times, set locations and restrictions on what they can and cannot say or do. And you won’t get to know your registrar. You will probably meet them for the first time on the day itself.

With a celebrant its all about choice!
