Hi, thank you for visiting my website. If you are here, you must be looking for someone to help you celebrate or to say goodnight to a loved one. So let me tell you a little bit about me.

I’m a Yorkshire lass based in Barnsley and a lover of life.

I am totally professional and empathic to your needs and wants.

I trained with the Independent College of Professional Celebrants who are the leaders in their field in the celebrant world. The training was life changing and I felt it was the right path and I was ready to get creative and start making magic happen.

As someone who works supporting victims of domestic abuse, I felt I didn’t want to end my career working with trauma. Don’t get me wrong, I love the work and feel as though it’s a passion and not a job, but my creative side is absolutely bursting and needed setting free!

I was once asked what I wanted to do after leaving school, and I said I wanted to be an actress, I was told that wasn’t going to happen, so I was asked again what I’d do if I couldn’t be an actress.  I’d like to plan weddings then, was my reply. Well that wasn’t going to happen either I was told. So I became a hairdresser and then went on to have my own beauty salon and then into teaching before finding my niche working in domestic abuse!

So having the chance to work with wonderful people and create unique and special memories feels like my dreams have come true finally!

When I’m not creatively writing or designing rituals or making up dances for wedding exits, I can be found at home, walking my dog, cooking for my grown up children and generally spoiling my Grandson.

I’ve found it’s the simple things in life that bring the pleasures and being with other people makes me happy.
